Working with playlists
Playlists group videos to play one after another. Embed a playlist on any website, or use it as the filler that keeps your Scheduled channels running between programs.
In this article:
- Create a playlist: name it and add videos
- Edit a playlist: reorder, remove, and add more videos
- Ways to use a playlist: embed it or use it as channel filler
- Manage your playlists: quick actions from the list
Create a playlist
- Go to Content → Playlists and click Add Playlist.
- Enter a Name and, if you like, a Description.
- Click Add Videos. Search for videos and click each one you want to add.
- Click Create Playlist.

Tip: playlists are for Bamboo videos. Videos added from YouTube or from external links can't be added to a playlist.
Edit a playlist
Click a playlist in Content → Playlists to open it. The edit page has two tabs:
- Details: the playlist's name, description, and videos. Drag videos to change their order, click Remove to take one out, or click Add Videos to add more.
- Embed: choose a player, then copy the iFrame or JavaScript embed code.
Click Save Changes when you're done.

Ways to use a playlist
- Embed it: put the playlist on any website. Viewers watch the videos one after another. Copy the code from the playlist's Embed tab. Learn more: Player Studio
- Use it as a channel filler: a Scheduled channel needs a filler playlist to play in any gap between your scheduled programs. Choose it under Filler Playlist in the channel's settings. Learn more: Set Up Your TV Channel
Tip: for a filler playlist, use short videos of different lengths, like promos and trailers, so gaps of any size fill smoothly. Only playlists with at least one video can be picked as a filler.
Manage your playlists
Click the ⋯ menu next to a playlist in Content → Playlists to:
- Edit: open the playlist.
- Copy Embed: copy the playlist's embed code in one click. It uses your default embed player, which you can choose in Content → Content Settings, under Player Configuration.
- Delete: remove the playlist. The videos in it stay in your library.
