Team Roles & Permissions

Bamboo Cloud lets you assign different roles to team members based on the level of access they need. Choosing the right role helps keep your account secure while giving each user the tools they need to do their job.

This guide explains the three available roles, what each one can do, and how to assign roles to your team members.

Where to Find It

To manage team members and their roles, open:

Account → Team

Or go directly to:

https://app.bamboo-cloud.com/admin/account/team

From this page, you can:

  • Invite new team members.
  • Edit existing team members.
  • Assign or change user roles.
  • Remove team members from your account.

Understanding Team Roles

Bamboo Cloud includes three team roles:

  • Admin

Bamboo Tips

  • Give users the lowest level of access they need to perform their work.
  • Use Contributor for content creators who shouldn't have access to platform settings.
  • Use Manager for users who oversee content but don't need to configure your Bamboo account.
  • Reserve the Admin role for trusted users responsible for managing the entire platform.
