Live TV: Layout, TV Guide & Embed

Live TV is where viewers watch your channels and browse what's on. In Platform → Live TV, you choose how the TV guide looks on your website, set the schedule's time zone, and get one embed code that puts your whole Live TV experience, player and TV guide included, on any website. Changes on this page save automatically.

Live TV layout

Applies to your website only.

• Live TV Layout: choose how schedules are shown on your website:
  • Channels: one channel at a time, with its player and its own schedule.
  • Full TV Guide: a program guide across all your channels.
• This setting doesn't affect your mobile or TV apps.
• Show VOD Button in Schedule: adds a button to schedule items that links to the program's video page, so viewers can watch it on demand. Applies to the Channels layout only.

The preview below the settings shows how your choice looks, using sample channels.

Display

Applies to your website and apps.

• Show Channel Names: shows or hides channel names in Live TV across your website and apps. On the website, it changes the channel column of the Full TV Guide.

Schedule

• Schedule Timezone: the time zone used to show your channel schedules.
• Default Schedule Start Time: the start time used in the Playout scheduling screen.

Embed your Live TV

Put your complete Live TV experience on any website: the player and the full program guide, with your Live TV settings, branding, colors, channels, and EPG data already applied.

1. Go to Platform → Live TV and scroll to Embed.
2. Open the Preview URL to see how it looks.
3. Click the copy button next to the Embed Code.
4. Paste the code into your website's HTML where you want Live TV to appear.

The embed code includes a short script that resizes the frame to fit its content, so your page doesn't get double scrollbars. Paste the whole code, script included.
