Analytics: Video, Live & Channel Performance

Analytics shows how viewers watch your content: how many plays you get, how long people watch, which videos perform best, and where your viewers are. Go to Analytics in the menu. There are three pages:

  • Analytics: an overview of your whole platform.
  • Video Performance: how your videos (VOD) are watched.
  • Live & Channels: how your channels and live streams are watched.

In this article:

  1. Choose a date range: 7, 14, 30, or 90 days, or custom
  2. Analytics overview: your platform at a glance
  3. Video Performance: plays, watch time, and drop-off for your videos
  4. Live & Channels: how your channels and live streams are watched
  5. What the numbers mean: a quick glossary
  6. Export your data: download it as a CSV

Choose a date range

At the top of each page, choose 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or 90 days, or pick your own dates with Custom. All the numbers and charts on the page update to match.

  • Plays Over Time: daily video plays.
  • Engagement Funnel: viewer drop-off through the watch journey, from all plays to 25%, 50%, and 75% watched, and completed.
  • Top Content: your best-performing videos by plays, with watch time, average time, and 75% rate for each.
  • Platform Breakdown and Top Countries: where your video plays come from.

Live & Channels

  • Summary: how many of your channels and live streams were watched, total watch time, and average time per play.
  • Plays Over Time: daily plays of your channels and live streams.
  • Channels and Live Streams: plays and watch time for each channel and each live stream.
  • Top Countries and Platforms: where your channel and live viewers are, and what they watch on.

What the numbers mean

  • Player Loads: how many times your player loaded on a page or app screen.
  • Play Starts and Total Plays: how many times viewers started playing.
  • Watch Time: the total time viewers spent watching.
  • Avg Time: the average watch time per play.
  • 75% Rate: the share of plays where viewers watched at least 75% of the video.
  • 25%, 50%, 75% Watched and Completed: how many plays reached each point of the video.

Tip: a big drop between two points of the funnel shows where viewers lose interest. Try a stronger opening, a shorter video, or a better thumbnail and title.
